FUCK DUBSTEP - A PUBLIC ENTRY
WHY THE F DOES EVERYONE LOVE DUBSTEP?!?!?!!!??
Dubstep SUCKS ASS. And don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about because my man is a dubstep MC. I've heard every damn track and mix put out 1,000 times over. I can count on ONE HAND tracks that are somewhat tolerable and that is ONLY because it's not really dubstep. It's more drum step or way more vocal than dubstep usually is.
Dubstep sounds like a bunch of meathead steriod freaks playing with power tools and setting it to 20 beats per minute. It doesn't sound good. No one wants to feel like they're "stuck" listening to the same track breaking it down for an hour. I used to hate it back in the day when drum and bass tracks would stop the awesome beat to break it down into a 5 minute synthesized drum solo. THAT IS ALL DUBSTEP IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the part that really kills me is all the electronic music people LOVE THIS SHIT. People who I KNOW back in the day understood the awful "breaking it down" tracks are on dubstep's weiner like it's gold. My daughter even loves it. She stands there headbanging whenever I am forced to listen to a dubstep set. UGH.
The sooner dubstep dies, the happier I'll be. And I'm glad it is becoming so mainstream so hopefully it gets over commercialized and dies out fast.
