MAN OVERBOARD!!!
Well, that was it. It was officially Not Gabrielle Moncello's day. Oh it had been going on just swimmingly at first, he'd been approaching a grand famous pirate vessel and was going to join up with its merry crew. And then! Then another damn pirate ship had to show up. And worse, the bloody Navy of all things. And not just one warship, but TWO! Oh joy of joys.
There was no way moncello was going to be able to get free from the fray that quickly, but that wasn't going to stop him from trying. He was rowing as fast as he could to get away from the flying cannonballs when Black Pearl decided to shift course and jam poor Moncello right between them and a Navy warship.
And worse, a misfired cannonball from the Dark Adia chose that very moment to land right on the prow of his poor fishing boat, causing it to sink.
Panicking, Moncello grabbed his small sea chest and clung to it like a raft, screaming for God or any other ear that might hear him.
He really hated getting wet, after all.
