Hello....I guess I owe you all the long trip explanation, but I am not able to sit in front of the computer for that long. But I will give a general description. For the first 3 days I was at Lafayette college, and we had to practice sooooo much. THe first day it was like 5 hours, then the next it was 10 (aah) and then the last we had like 6 hours and then a concert. The dorms there were sooo gross (and have conviced Sam that she will live at home for college) Sam (or samantha, for those her call her that) was my roommate on the trip. I knew her from Wayland, and we had many fun times. I don't think I have ever laguhed so much for so long as I have on this trip. I didn't make too many new friends, but we formed a kind of Wayland posse, which consisted of a bunch of kids from WHS, but I didn't know all of them, so I guess I did make some new friends. I have also confirmed that most people from weston high are very strange. On the second day sam made on of them like freak out at us. We were talking about what grades are most important in high school, and Sam said she thought tenth and eleventh were most important, and this girl from weston, who was going to be a junior, though only junior year was. It was a totally casual conversation, but the girl got really defensive, and kept rolling her eyes and say "stupid freshmen." Then sams said, in a totally joking manner "you just don't think sophmore year is important because you can't take it back." and the girl freaked out and was like "I got straight A's in tenth grade, why would I want to take THAT back!" and like jumped up and ran away. So Sam and I basically gave up on trying to make new friends after that. And laughed really hard about it. Anyway, then we left for switzerland, but since the plane was really overbooked, I got bumped up to business class and got to have a really comfortable plane ride. It was quite enjoyable. For the first few days we stayed in interlaken, which was relaly pretty. From switzerland we went to france, then germany, and finally Austria. I have tons of cool stories, but they would take too long to put down here. I will try to get pictures on the web once they are developed. Call me, I want to get together with people before I go to camp next week.
