What to say that would give you an idea of what is going on in my life currently? I don't know. Many things come to mind, but as usual, I can't be bothered.
So instead here's something random: I had to go to Greeley today to pick up a friend for the weekend. She just started going to UNC there and I just cannot tell you how incredibly different that place is from Boulder. As are most places in Colorado/the World. But for some reason I never fail to be surprised when I travel down these Colorado roads to find myself in a completely different world. And not a good world. A strange world filled with ford trucks, match box houses and hicks in Nascar hats. What am I doing in this state? For the love of God! I love my little Boulder bubble, and I thought I had pride for my state, but then I go out to the plains and it all goes out the window. C'est la vie.
Is anyone listening to the Hairspray soundtrack on repeat? Yeah, I think I'm only one in this group : \
