I've been working on the collage in my room and I just added a few more pictures today. I think my favorite part of reading magazines is deciding which pictures to rip out and add to the collage. I really like the way it looks right now. I'm probably going to run out of room on the wall soon, however. Here's a picture, which has a glare and also cuts off the very top, so you can't see the picture of Paul Newman shirtless. (There's another one towards the bottom anyway.)

There are a few pictures not in the close-ups. At the bottom: Gael Garcia Bernal, a Dior ad with a boy in sunglasses, a drawing of Andy Warhol, Jeff Buckley, a postcard of an eye with clouds in it, a Marc Jacobs ad, another Dior ad, Matthew Gray Gubler, Paul Newman doing pushups,a giant accordian, and a car. In the top right corner: a painting by Picasso, Paul Newman with a crutch from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Topher Grace, and Gaspard Ulliel with a cigarette and an adorable newspaper hat. I've never seen him in anything, but I liked the picture (and I do want to see A Very Long Engagement). Also somewhere in the middle is a picture of Gerard Butler.

A Prada ad with my former model boyfriend Harry Kinkead, a Kate Spade ad, Marlon Brando from The Wild One, Paul Rudd, Josh Charles and Miss Piggy from Muppets in Space, an almost dirty picture of Gael Garcia Bernal, Sam Roberts, a Kandinsky postcard from the MoMA, half of Twiggy, and a coffee cup with lip prints from an article about this season's lip colors

Half of a VW Bug ad, Gwyneth Paltrow, a typewriter, Jonathon Rhys Meyers smoking, Gael Garcia Bernal with flaming fingertips, Anderson Cooper, Zach Braff (in a YSL velvet suit that I adore), a picture of trees and mountains from some fashion editorial, and an illustration from the Bruce Weber editorial in W with elephants as models.

Kate Moss in a David Yurman ad, a purse from an editorial in Interview, the other half of the VW ad, an illustration of a dress by Dior (I think), Paz de la Huerta as Edie Sedgwick from Interview, a wedding dress whose designer has slipped my mind, Zach Braff, and another postcard from the MoMA, although I forget the photographer.

So I've had this idea floating around in my head for a few days to start a community like audiography for sharing songs, but smaller (more intimate?). The people I mentioned it to seemed interested but I don't know how many people would actually post there, so. If you think this is a good idea, let me know.

I have been so incredibly frustrated with the Wichita Public Library as of late. The dearth of books, classic books that you would expect them to have, is completely unacceptable. I mean, I had to drive all the way across town just to get a copy of Of Mice and Men freshman year when I left mine in my locker. Half the books are lost and they never bother to replace them. Someday when I am very rich, I'm going to donate millions to the Wichita Public Library just so it won't suck anymore. On the condition that they can't ban any books (or music--I'm still pissed about that). Sorry for my obnoxious ranting about this. I think I'm done for now.

pretty, photography, i made something!
