Awakening

I received a friendly reminder from one of my friends :) that it's been a while since I posted and that the last couple of posts have been somewhat somber.  It's been 8 weeks and oh, how much has changed in that time.  I am awake and free of all of the chaos within my own mind/ego;).
  • May 8th was my last day of work at a company I worked for about 7 years.
  • The same day I found out my best friends husband was in the hospital with pneamonia.  He is fine now.
  • A week later I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia which explains everything in regards to how I was feeling physically and mentally.
  • A week later I went to Sedona, AZ for a few days with my best friend and was awakened.   I suggest everyone should experience Sedona in their life time.  I am unable to explain to you how I felt or how speechless I was everyday I was there!
  • While I was there one of my friends husband's died of a heart attack.  This man was beautiful inside and out.  He was a giver and never asked anyone for anything.
  • I know all of these occurances happened for a reason.
Life is sooooo, sooooo precious and is truly a gift to ALL of us.  To waste time and energy complaining about your health or your job or other people is a waste of time and energy.  I see that now and am grateful.  I know I wasn't in the right place so I left for me and I love myself for it.

I am happy I received the diagnosis that I did.  It woke me up.

I started a fun, exciting endeavor on Monday and a new 9-5 job last Thursday.  I get up everyday grateful for another day, another breath and another moment.

5 Things I AM Grateful for Today:
  1. My Husband Charlie
  2. My Family both Immediate and In-Laws.
  3. My kitties and all the other kitties and animal life out there!
  4. All of my friends both old and new!
  5. Nature, nature and nature for providing the air we breathe and the food we eat and the water that we drink!

A thank you to Travis for connecting with me even though it's literally been year's since we've seen each other.

Namaste
