I saw the summer j-drama listing on Arama this morning. So, yeah. Team Batista 3.

Team.

Batista.

3.

OMG. NAKAMURA TORU. /swoons and fans self

I love him. I don't care that he's like in his mid-40s with a wife and kids, I'd hit that five billion ways from Sunday. Unf.

Oh, and there's Arakawa Under the Bridge which stars Shirota. I'd prefer to watch both but I have no idea if either will get subbed.

That seems to be the case with a lot of shows I really would like to watch: no subs or incomplete ones. Then again, I have a healthy stack of j-dramas that I would like to watch. Most are older series that I downloaded based on various recommendations or if there was an actor in it that I liked from another series. This was the case with Daito Shunsuke, Nakamura Toru, Kaname Jun...

There are a few actors I'd like to see in more TV roles (Kanesaki comes to mind immediately), but they focus more on stage, which is cool. I know Yagami is in another detective show right now, but I don't think it's being subbed. Unfortunate because I thought he was good in the episodes of Koshonin 2 that I was able to watch.

In the end, I should really try to learn Japanese so I can just watch raws and not miss out on awesome shows (imo) because they won't get picked up by a subbing group. I just don't really know how to go about the listening comprehension. /sigh

English TV wise, I'm currently addicted to Doctor Who. I'm also watching the new Hawaii Five-O and The Tudors. I'm caught up on UK Skins -- just waiting for the generation 1 movie -- Glee, House. I need to set aside time and watch Fringe because it's amazing. I have a few other shows I'd like to catch up on, but there's not a lot of time with how things work out now. One day, maybe. :D
