man i wish i had a pentium platform right now...
what's so great about world wind? it's satelite images of the planet, stiched together by good 'ole nasa. them boys done good! and in just 10 terrabytes (get it!?!??!) of information, the world opens up and reveals its glories to us terrestrial life. but check it! it's an application, so dl from the site first. i read that they're 3d images, but i can't check it! it's run only on a PC. unfortunate for me, lucky for most of the rest of the users of the technology clique.

and i wanted to see aceh! more on that proposition soon...
