Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox (SPOILERS)
Wow. I really want to talk to someone about how great this was. Confusing. But great. I've always loved Artemis, but the progression and maturing of his character has really drawn me to him.... and maybe the fact that he's a criminal mastermind helps. I have a large attachment to Butler too, love him. But back to the plot not my imaginary boy fantasies. It was really well thought out with twists and turn I never knew what was coming... Just when I though they'd caught the bloody lemur something new happened something more exciting than the last. I mean the smartest person Artemis knows is himself, so what better opponent? It was fascinating to watch him try to outwit himself, especially as he's no longer as cruel or guilt-free as he once was. I'm really not very coherent today, sorry, but I loved the book, I love Artemis, I love Butler I even love the lemur JayJay who is insanely cute. Eoin Colfer never fails to captivate me with his writing. He's a genius! Although the "The End" at the end wasn't particualr promising... I don't think he says that at the end of the other books, does he? I better go check!
