So how have you all been, I hope you have been weathering the LJ downtime, man being DDOSed really sucks but I will stand in support of the Russian bloggers and to be fair I have Tumblr and twitter so I am better at being able to stand when LJ isn't working. Although I changed my name and am now humanrobotwithfeelings over on tumblr. LOL I am kind of in love with that name I do not even know.
I figure that most of my flist is already aware of all the amazingness of The Legend of Korra news, because let me tell you I am super excited for 2012 and for Korra to come into my life. Like I think I have already watched the trailer like a million times. Uggggghhhhh, omg Avatar (not Smurfatar) I love forever and always, I should probably rewatch that soon. Also I am looking forward to engaging with Korra without having to interact with fandom. (LOL Avatar you are the worst, and had I not already previously scarred I would have held you to being the worst fandom ever)
Also it should be noted that most of my fannish interaction has been happening over IMs, so as always if you ever want to chat or have me babble off at you incoherently you can IM at lovescafell on AIM. I am a completely ridiculous person though just as a warning.
But I guess besides being super excited for that next year (along with Brave), I have been continuing with my tour of the world of kdrama. Special thanks to my guides
viviolo and
mekosuchinae who basically have given me months worth of stuff to check out.
That said I finished You're Beautiful which I wholly and completely loved and I don't know that I can add much to what everyone else has ever said about this series, but I feel it is one of those shows where you go in and are like "I am just watching this for the hilarious presence and the wacky hijinx but I don't expect to get that involved" but then you watch and you get completely and totally involved or maybe that is just me. Of course I have a special place in my heart for ridiculous boybands and crossdressing nuns, so really this series may have just been made for me. Also
this expression will never not be the greatest thing I have ever seen. (I had jury duty this week and I seriously contemplated whether me trying to do Tae Kyeung's sneer would be a subtle way to be excused of jury duty but unfortunately I never made it to a courtroom to find out).
I had originally planned to write a more in depth post about YAB, but then I made the mistake of starting another drama and well I guess this is where I really wanted this post to go.
I am through episode 7 of City Hunter, and man I have all the feelings of the world and then some.
Guys I just have so many feelings about characters who are raised to fulfill some kind of revenge or master plan for their parents/other adults and City Hunter kind of incorporates that in spades and just Lee Yoon-Sung just hits so much of that and I just I don't know my feelings aren't particularly articulate, although I do say that I love the fact that while he is still all about carrying out Jin-Pyo's revenge he does it through making the bad guys answer to the public and through a conviction to not kill people. HOW MUCH DO I LOVE THAT, sooooo much.
Also FUCK YOU Jin-Pyo, you don't get to steal someone's baby and tell them to live happily and then basically emotionally neglect that child so that you can train them to carry out your plan of revenge and then still have me feel bad about you. NO and thank you, yes what happened to you sucks and I totally hate those dudes and think they deserve to bite it (though to be fair most of my dislike is that they are nasty people outside of just that one incident) but you know what, you should freaking bite it too.
And then there is my new fictional girlfriend Kim NaNa who is amazing and I love her and she is badass and sweet and stubborn and amazing and I love her times infinity.
I have so many feelings about this series and I should really watch episode eight because damn episode 7 SHE SHOT HIM, OMG SHE SHOT HIM and I just want to love everyone except Jin-Pyo fuck him in this bar.
So I guess City Hunter happened, I am just going to watch this fan trailer forever and ever (contains spoilers for later action sequences though honestly outside of a few I can still enjoy it soooo much):

I have like not been watching anime at all, what is everyone watching? I don't know how soon I will get into to it but I figured I should ask since I haven't been keeping up with it at all.
