Well, what can I talk about? I have so much, it's a little odd and unusual. Starters, NYC. If I didn't have Anthony, I could totally live there, right in the throngs of it all. Anthony doesn't ever want to actually live there, he could just live nearby some day. I couldn't live without Anthony, so I certainly wouldn't sacrifice him just to live in a city, I could settle for nearby. Chances are nearby won't even happen, I guess just finally getting to go and be there, I have always wanted to live there, so that kind of started something up for me, you know, that desire. But like I said, no Anthony, no deal, so I am not even sad about NYC because who knows if it would even happen anyways, plus I still have to get into Vet school somewhere.
Anyways, walking around NYC for like 7 hours, getting to ride on a train into Grand-freakin Central Station, that was cool. I like riding trains, so that was fun, and hello, Grand Central Station. I got to see the Nederlander Theatre, home to RENT. Anthony found it for me (see, what would I do without him) he kept looking and looking till we found it, even called his sister to find the address, he is so good to me! Anyways, I have pics, if you want to see them, Anthony will probably post some, but lets just say, I didn't speak for like 5 minutes, I just took it all in. That is an awesome theatre, and all I am talking about is the outside of it. It is very RENT themed, and anyone who knows the play can get an idea of what I am talking about. I can't even describe it really, there is this huge picture of all the actors lined up singing "Seasons of Love"
Yeah, that was cool. We also saw where Phantom plays, and where Spamalot plays. Katie Curick passed right by us on the street, and for once I was observant enough to notice someone passing me, super cool. We also saw a lot of Times Square, the Chrysler Building (sp?), the Empire State Building, Central Park, etc, etc. I wish we had eaten at a Deli, because NY Delis are good, but we did get pizza, and brought home some bagels, which is wonderful! I don't think i can quite describe to you what I felt being there, because I really have always wanted to move there, but never even got a chance to go there. At times I forgot that I was in a store in NYC, and then I would remember that when I left I wouldn't just be walking out onto a street in Murray or Lexington, and I was just like "Holy CRAP!!!"
Ok, enough rambling, I don't think you will ever get me to speak fully coherantly on the subject. On Saturday my cousin missed the turn off to the church, we wound up in the Bronx and I almost missed my aunt's wedding. I was upset, but we made it for the vows at least, and I still got to sing with my sister, dad, and uncle, so that was good. The rest I will see on video at some point.
As for the rest of my life right now, I am really busy, buckling down on vet school applications finally, my boss is silly and does not get our schedules out to us ahead of time at all! It drives me nuts!! Seriously, I found out that I was going to work today at about 1:30. I went in at 5! I don't know yet if I have to work tomorrow or not. It is a bit insane. I am supposed to go help recruit at SEMO on Thursday night, but I am also supposed to meet with my Sigma Crew at 8 that night. Let's just say Adrienne's got both hands full. On the up side, got my financial aid, financial worries not top of my list anymore.
Ok, I will end this for now, because I bet you are super tired of stuff that is not pertinent to you at all!!! Talk to you later, maybe I can expand more on some other NY stuff later. Peace out!
