I just got back from Lexington about 35 minutes ago. I got back 5 minutes after the Sigma meeting started, so I couldn't go. I planned on being back in time to go, but when you haven't been home in 3 months and you only get to be there for 1 1/2 days, and you know that the next chance you will get to go home will be not for another 1 1/2 months, you kinnda don't really want to rush off. So I left a little too late to be able to make it to the meeting. If I hadn't had to stop to pee I might have made it, but I had a soda with me in the car, so it was unavoidable. I am sure all you guys wanted to know that little tid bit.
Anyways, it was sooooooo nice to be home. On the way home from Gulf Shores, on I-65 when we passed by the Loisville turnoff and I knew we didn't have enough time to drive to Lexington I started crying, I guess I was homesick......ya think? So obviously I was quite ready to be there, it was only the 3rd time I have been home since I cam back to Murray at the end of the summer, and all of those times I have only been able to be there for like 2 days. I got to talk to my parents and spend time with each of them one at a time and all together. We went to this fabulous pizza place caled Brooklyn Pizza. Anyone who knows me well knows that it is my personal opinion that there is no pizza on earth that compares with the pizza in NY, and this pizza came pretty darn close. It was actually a really good version of NY style pizza! I also got to sing with my dad at church this morning. I love that!!! I love to sing and I love to perform, and what better way to do it than in helping lead worship to God!!! Especially with my dad! Mack actually got along with my family's older dog Pockets, as long as he didn't go to close to her, so that was enough for me.
Pockets is getting really old, and when I leave I sometimes worry that it may be the last time I see her. I really hope not! Even though Mack is MY dog, I still love Pockets more than him, I guess because she has been with my family so much longer. Not that I don't love Mack, you all know how it is.
Anyways, thanks to the replys to my last post, I appreciate it. I think I will end up taking Genetics even if I can't find some other summer school to do it at. Whatever happens will happen, and if I am meant to get into vet school I will. If not, then it obviously wasn't meant to be and I have other things I am talented at to fill its place. My mom thinks I should be a fashion designer.....hhhhmmmmm..... :) Guess that's it for now. NO BIOCHEM ALL WEEK! YAAAAYYYYY!!!!!
