Heh, the movies are made with people who haven't read the books in mind?
I enjoyed it, but only because I knew what was going to happen and wanted to see how they compressed it and changed it for the film. A few things I was "meh" about because they were thrown in for DRAMA and LOVE INTEREST flair and I thought they could have used the time better. And they didn't develop a few things well enough, certainly. Such as the importance of the book for Harry. But all in all I enjoyed it.
One thing I really did like was how they had Dumbles figure out the H=h thing on screen. Now, in the book, I'm certain Dumbles figures it out earlier. But having it on screen gets rid of a sticky problem explaining it later for the non-book reading folk, and it was also a fabulous jump cut into his overheard conversation with Snape, which led directly to the sea cave scene and everything that followed.
I might have also enjoyed how often Harry asked Snape a question and Snape just blew him off, but that's just me. :D
