Hot Springs
So we (James, Lilly, and Sheryl from chem and Lilly's friend (and Montana native) Sam) went to some hot springs over in Idaho. The drive was beautiful. We got to the trailhead at dusk and hiked in to the hot springs (about 1.5 miles). There are several pools and they're all along the river. We had the place to ourselves, the air was cool but not icy, and the stars were spectacular. We could really see the Milky Way. Even "jumped" (more like a quick dip) into the river between soaks in the hot springs. It's very invigorating. Now I feel all nice and warm and cozy. Sleep time!
