Welcome home!
To all of you out there in lj land: I'm home! The surgery went pretty smoothly and although there was some confusion about discharging me today, that's what ended up happening...and I'm glad. I made it up 15 stairs and am now reposed moderately comfortably in my bed. Although I'm still on heavy duty pain meds, I am starting to become a bit more coherent. However, I think I'll leave this for the post and talk more about all the excitement surrounding surgery later.
