The good news and the bad news.

The bad news: We have termites.
The good news: We do not own the home we live in.

BTW - while the quartet is not so great, my chorus, on the other hand, is in top form. We are going to kick some barbershop butt in Calgary.

Ugh, termites. You're the second person on my f-list to get them in the past month, and, wow, that sucks. So sorry.

But at least you have that going for you. :o)

Hope your problem gets fixed soon.

*is from Edmonton, so kicking Calgarian butt is always awesome*

Even if it's a different Calgary.

Yours weirdly,

Good luck with the landlord. I have a friend who is going through something that is the landlords problem but the landlord won't take care of it at all. It's cost her over $3600 already and the landlord won't take it out of the rent or help her pay. And the company that is trying to fix the problem for her has said its the landlord's responsiblity. They're probably going to end up in court. Hopefully yours is better than hers since you're both in NY.

Good luck with the quartet!

Our landlord rocks. He's already been to the house and has done the first round of treatment, and will be coming back today to do more. He's a wonderful landlord, and especially since he lives right next door, he is not interested in letting the house go to hell, since he knows the value of upkeep for being able to eventually sell the house.

That's definitely good then! Good luck with both things!
