(no subject)
So much has happened since I last updated. I went to Florida for the Taste of Chaos shows. More on that in a minute, because, damn it was SO MUCH FUCKING FUN :)
Work is the same, like always. I doubt it will ever change, unless I get a new job, and I hate to admit it, but I'm scared of change.
My last update was because Matt left the band, and now it looks as though he plans on playing with Angels and Airwaves. Ehhh...I just wished he had picked a better band. On the up side of it all, I'll get to see Matt doing what he loves, and that is all that matters.
3o found them a bass player, Tim, who is fucking brilliant and amazing and completely down to Earth. He will fit in well, in my opinion.
Florida...what can I say about Florida, it was amazing beyond words. It was supposed to be four shows, but it ended up being only three because the Jacksonville show was canceled. Miami was Shannon's birthday and they were all a little happy on stage. Not that I blame them. Shannon was in a good mood after the show as he received gifts left and right. My group got him a bottle of Grey Goose and a bottle of Jagger...yeah, he loved us. :) Then we drove to Orlando, and this show was fucking insane. It was outside, so we all knew Jared was going to climb the stage, and he did. It is something to see it in person, so much better then the videos. Then he wore a leopard print bra and danced in it for a bit. The crowd was insane and fun all at the same time. I finally got to hear 'Buddha' live, and now I love it more that before! After the show, they cut the signing line short so we didn't get to go. Jared came back out though, for a little bit and signed autographs. I got him to sign my Echelon wristband. After that we drove to Tampa. Oh Tampa, there is soooo much to say about Tampa....The Echelon got the front row, and the guys knew it. We all rocked the fuck out. Shannon had cut his hair, he had the Hawk back. The son of a bitch is sexy in person like that. Tomo, well, I'm going to go into detail about Tomo. All I'm going to say is that he is so completely different then I though he was, and I mean that in a good way. After the show we did the signing line and then headed out by the bus. Eventually Shannon came out and started taking pictures with everyone. While he was, Tomo came out. He was goofing around with our group ;) Jared came out as well and took pictures. Once the crowd died down, the real fun started. Shannon was drinking out alcohol and I must say, he is a fun drunk :) Wil from Aiden was there as well. Everyone just hung out until like 4am then we had to leave. As we were leaving Shannon says 'Drive safe now. Be careful.' Then it was time for me to leave. I met some wonderful people there, one most of all. Claire. She has become one of my best friends. We talk almost every night. I know we'll be friends for a long time. I miss her :(
I also went to the TOC show in Georgia, but that was a short experience because it almost didn't happen. The guys were dressed like doctors, they were cute. The signing line was wrapped around the building, but they signed everyone of them. When I got up there I got the cutest smile from Jared.
Then it was all over and I am afraid I will have to wait a fucking lifetime to see them again.
I missed Matt at these shows. It wasn't the same without him.
