Stay.
Allowing himself to be tugged forward, Billy curls into the line of Dom’s body, and then Aureen is moving her arm so Billy is enveloped in her embrace as well.
“I am so glad you found each other,” Aureen whispers, kissing both of their cheeks.
Turning their heads so their eyes meet, Billy and Dom share a long, tender look, then close their eyes as they lean into one another, showing Aureen that they feel exactly the same way.

Nothing's wrong, I hope?
Glad to see they got through this horrible part in their lives. :D

I was glad to get through this part, and for both of them to start to move on. Btw, it turns out part of the chapter didn't post for some reason. It's been fixed, and it's important in later chapters, so you might want to take a pee about halfway down the page.
Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed.

I was afraid at first that Austin would turn away from Dominic, especially after the remark about being 'old fashioned'. I'm glad to see that both of Dom's parents are so very supportive of him, even knowing what he did to survive. It was painful for both Dom and Billy to have to talk about what happened, but now that things are 'out in the open', the real healing can begin.
Good to see Dom and Billy beginning to learn to lean on each other - that speaks well for their relationship. I like how you portray the two of them 'growing' into being a couple, rather than just hitting it off from the start.

Dom's parents love him, and while it's hard to know what he did to survive, what they're choosing to focus on is that he's alive, safe, and loved. There's been so much pain already, and I think it means something that they came there and told the truth.
Yes, they're definitely growing as a couple. They've both got issues to deal with that aren't going to disappear overnight.
Thank you very much. Happy that you enjoyed. :)

God, that just tears at your heart.
“Yes. To my everlasting shame, yes,” Billy says quietly, holding Aureen’s questioning gaze as he admits his part in it. “I was one of them, who paid.”
:whoosh: that was the breath being sucked out of my body.
“So it’s just you and me,”
I would bet a comfortable million that Billy would rather be audited than have that conversation. ;) Billy really handled himself well with both parents.
“Loved you like one of my sons?” :rubs heart: nice.
Did they tell Matt what had become of Dom? btw, I don't think I've mentioned before, but I like Mark. A lot. :)
kerry =)

Dom had to make the initial confession, but Billy had to face each of Dom's parents, not knowing what their response would be. Eeeee. I'm not sure I would've done as well as he did.
Matt is extremely peripheral in this fic. I just wanted the entire family to reconnect, and then move on. I adore Mark. I want to take him home with me. Hee.
Thank you. I'm pleased you enjoyed, and I ♥ your comments.
