Hrm. I'm not sure that I've ever been called a git before. In caps, no less. Uh, thank you?

I'm flattered by your strong reaction and am glad you enjoyed. There will be more. Soon.

Hmm...NOW I see why you mentioned a bonus chapter this weekend. After that particular cliffhanger, it's going to drive some people to near insanity waiting to see what Dom's parents have to say. Not only will they find out that Dom sold himself on the streets, but Billy was part of it.

I admire how Dom and Billy are both starting to realize that neither one of them is perfect - that they can and do make mistakes, and are willing to correct them. Dom, in particular, is starting to understand that he is NOT alone, unless he chooses to be.

Another great chapter, Dylan!

Yes, this isn't the easiest conversation to have with ones parents, that's for sure. I didn't want to be mean and leave readers hanging too long.

While Dom is starting to learn that it's okay to lean on others, it's not something that comes naturally to him. It's going to take time, and patience on Billy's part.

Thank you very much. I'm happy you enjoyed.

*hangs head* Sowwy. The chapter was too long when I wrote it and I had to split it. Blame my Muse?

Yes, Dom is slowly finding his way. Thanks ever so. I'm pleased that you liked.

I know Billy has the best intentions, by paying for Dom's therapy, but will this only make Dom feel more like a burden?

The communication between them is growing stronger and stronger. It's good Billy is doing more then just saying he loves Dom. By showing Dom how his silence has affected Billy, Dom has a better chance of trusting Billy will really be there for him.

Both men are fast asleep when the door cracks open, more than an hour after they said goodnight, and Aureen peeks in.

i'm sorry, but that made me laugh. she's lucky both men were asleep, or she might have caught quite an eyeful!

If only Dom had reached out, swallowed his pride and called them, so much could’ve been avoided.

that's probably the sad truth for many, many runaways. They think there's no way their families could still love them after they've been hurt, when in truth so many parents would just be grateful to have their child home. Safe.

Man, talk about leaving things hanging on the edge there.

k =)

I think Dom was trying to carry too much on his shoulders, and something had to give. He saw how his distance hurt Billy, so he gave in with regards to who was paying for the therapy sessions. He had to realize that he just couldn't do it all on his own. Slowly, Dom's starting to accept that leaning on Billy isn't the burden he thinks it is.

Hee. Normally I'd agree with you, but knowing the state of mind of the men, shagging was the last thing they were thinking about. Besides, I don't think they'd ever have sex in the same building of Dom's parents. I don't think I could shag just down the hall from my Mom and Dad.

I think for quite a few people, they are harder on themselves than anyone else could ever be. Dom holds himself to an impossible standard, and when he ran away, that worked against him, as he thought he had caused too much damage to be forgiven.

Evil cliff-hanger.
