Dom must have been wondering, looking at that newspaper article, how easily it could have been his name printed there instead of Cory's - had Billy not found Dom that night he was sick and taken him in.
I have a feeling next week Kleenex will be mandatory for all readers, given the way the angst has been building up - both of these men have some serious issues (both individually and together) that need to be dealt with.
Oh, and it seems I was wrong about Viggo's now-outed lover. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised. This should be VERY interesting.
Another well-done chapter, Dylan.

All too easily, Dom could've been in Cory's position, and he knows it. Having kleenex isn't a bad thing, just in case. Better safe than sorry.
Pleasantly surprised about Orli, are you? I like that. Thank you very much.

Dom knows, thanks to Viggo, how close he was to death that night before Billy found him. The newspaper article simply reinforced that knowledge. And yes, I will likely have Kleenex nearby, having had experience with some of your other stories (like the "Forgive Me" series - now if THAT doesn't make you feel something, nothing will).
Orli WAS a surprise, to be honest. I was debating whether it might be him, or someone from Dom's past like the abusive 'boyfriend' (I had to put that theory to rest after thinking about it - it wouldn't make sense for Dom's old boyfriend to show up, being the kind of idiot he was). I'm glad to see I was wrong on that score.

Reality is hitting Dom hard, with Eric and Cory representing what his life used to be, and what could've been his death. The FM series was very hard for me to write, but at the time, it was what I needed to say. I'm flattered that it had such an impact with you.
When I decided that Vig was going to get a love interest, I didn't want to mess with him - not after he was so good to Billy and Dom. Orli just felt right.

And Vig + Orlando... perfect.
Fantastic job, Dylan. Once again... I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

I'm very touched by your kind words. Thank you so much. I'm rather fond of Vig/Orli. They just seem to fit in this world. So pleased that you enjoyed.

You want to be a mouse? Do you like cheese? Forgive me, the muscle relaxants have started to kick in.
Me? Write angst? Oh, you know me so well. Thank you.

very good advice. Extra brownies for Viggo.
Cory
woah. wonder if it was the same bastard that tried to do Dom in?
Somehow Dom has to make it work. Billy, his parents, school, the shop . .
Jeeze. Think he may add 'finding a cure to cancer' and 'ending the fighting in the middle east' to the list of things he has to do?? Poor bug. I know he doesn't get it that he doesn't have to do this on his own.
Dom seems to be handling it quite admirably.
Billy Billy Billy. Not even close. *hugs*
I'm very glad that Billy is going to see Dr. Taylor, too. I think he's got a lot of his own issues to deal with, what with paying Dom for sex in the past. Looking forward to Monday.

Unfortunately, Dom's old world is full of bastards who inflict pain on those who are in desperate situations. Yeah, Dom's good at heaping stuff on his shoulders, isn't he? In some ways, he's his own worst enemy, and he's learned to be a very good actor. Dom needs help, and so does Billy.
Thank you very much.
