Life goes on and on

Yesterday, we went into town for some late evening coffee, but instead found ourselves at the Botanic Gardens sniffing roses, chasing a couple of wild geese. It also brought back memories of earlier this year when we watched William Shakespeare's As You Like It enacted under the stars, on a crisp summer evening at The Dell, an open-air mini-theater at the Garden.

Last Saturday, we finally visited the Stonehenge Aotearoa and spent a wonderful afternoon learning about ancient sky navigation and starlore. We were even asked to join the society to provide the Indian outlook on astronomy/astrology. But really, I'm not sure we're the best people to ask!

Anyway, both were good times and helped calm my overstressed nerves. I've not been feeling so good lately and have taken the last three days of this week off to just sit back and catch up with myself. The changing seasons always influence me in unpredictable ways, so this rest period is really important to me as I shed my winter coat and slip into my summer slippers.
