Alvida... or not really?
Just back from KANK.. and I can almost see the can of worms its gonna break open back home. Among those who care to watch Karan Johar brand of movies anyway!
But really, the movie is not as disappointing.. it didn't fall flat the way i expected it to! The jokes are even laughable without being loud! (and that's some acheivement for Mr. KJ, i say!) Good music, good lyrics. (no surprise there!) Good performances and lotsa eye-candy! As for the whole 'failed marriage v/s true love' issue, well, I'd say it didn't even touch the tip of the iceberg. It misses the point by light years.. and how! But maturity has never been bollywood's strong point anyway.. so I'll stop reading too much between the lines and just shut up! :D i'd say worth one dekko.
Now if only SRK hadn't forgotten abt his handicap from time to time! :-/
