I realized today that it was this time last year that I was negotiating my return to work after a 5 month long medical leave of absence for depression. I don't really have a whole lot to say about that except, wow, does it ever feel like longer than that.
Who went to sleep just after midnight last night and got almost eight whole hours of sleep? I DID. \o/
I haven't even had caffeine yet and I'm in a pretty decent mood. Granted, the following things have helped a great deal.

ZOMG
shadow-walker3 did this thing, right? With the
fanmix soundtrack of
Every Broken Thing and the story itself...and...
SHE MADE A VID! For us. For our fic. *dances around like a madwoman*
I still can't get over this. All I got is flail. Lots and lots of flail.
Go! Love! Feedback her! ZOMG!

From an e-mail my BOSS forwarded to me, which is just weird on several levels.
FOR YOUR RETIREMENT:
----------
If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.
With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.
With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.
But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of Beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have had $214.00.
Based on the above, current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.
It's called the 401 Keg Plan.
