Omigod, I can’t wait to get home. The good karma I’ve accumulated by not killing any stupid-ass students or professors this start-of-semester has at least kept this day from (thus far) getting worse.

Boy: *calls me back* So there was this dude in the elevator, right? And he offered me some magic beans for what I had in the box so I decided to go for it because you can't pass up magic beans, right?
Me: Nooooooo!!!!! Magic beans, Boy? Magic BEANS!?!?
Boy: Well then I opened the box and a pigeon flew out.
Me: Do you think it was due to the magic beans?
Boy: Yes.
Me: But...but...
Boy: He appears to be a very smart pigeon.
Me: But...will he download and play me episodes of Stargate Atlantis?
Boy: *with great confidence* No, but he'll act them out. He'll do a little interpretive pigeon sci-fi dance.
Me: *pictures the McShep Show as acted out by pigeon* *BRAIN EXPLODES*
