and the voting commences...........
Early voting started today..........I did my part. I voted and placed signs at the high school. I spent 3 sweaty hours putting signs up yesterday! What a wife!! And to think that all I thouht I had to do was buy cool clothes and look good! Which, I might add (needlessly, of course) I've done very, very well.
The tennis season is over and I have abdicated any role for any summer leagues. It's too dang hot here to do that! I say that every year and yet I play every summer. I'm one of those people you see on the evening news who suffered heat stroke and you say, "What an idiot!! Didn't she know it's too dang hot here to play tennis at noon?! Sheesh!". So, I've decided to let someone else have that role. I'll sit in my air conditioning, thank you very much.
Only a few more weeks until Whitney comes home.........I hope finals go well for her......I have no doubt that they will. The boys are counting the days until school's out. The house will no longer be quiet during the day.......SOB! Oh well.
