still getting back into the swing of things
OK, can I just say that the NY trip was great?!!! And I think I could go see "Wicked" every week! What an awesome show, with awesome performers, awesome songs............suffice it to say...........awesome.
This morning the temp in NY is in the 20's.......I think we left just in time. We were downright warm in the 30's!
Letterman was fun.....got a T shirt and a cap for giving up my seat for a skit. GMA was great.....got to take pics with the girls and the newspeople (and weatherperson) from the show. That was nice of them.
Hugh Jackman was..........well, what need is there to say anything here? If you don't know what he is then too bad for you. He makes me smile.
It was nice to spend a little time with Whitney this weekend.......wish it could've been more, but I guess that's how it goes. Hope her spring break wasn't too hellish. At least she got to go out dancing into the wee hours. Too bad about her feet.
Had to get right back into tennis yesterday morning for a league match. And we won!! In two sets......YES!! 6-2, 6-4. It was a beautiful day to play tennis........weather was amazingly great.
The boys had a good spring break.....thanks to my "mom-guilt"................went out and bought movies and Game Cube games to keep them busy. That was probably good for Whitney, too...........keep them busy and they'll leave you alone! Sounds something akin to taking care of wild animals!!
So now I am a candidate's wife........weird!! Hope I don't do anything too embarassing! Maybe all I have to do is dress nicely and look good. Hmmmmmmmmm, wonder if I can handle that? Anyway, in spite of the time this whole thing is going to take up, I hope he gets it. He'd be a good addition to that school board and they need good people.
