I'm talking to you, half-informed loudmouthed nit-wit.

Can't anyone argue a topic with facts, data and a modicum of maturity, without debasing their own argument and intelligence with childish name calling, false premises and sloganeering?

It seems in the health care debate especially, so many normally intelligent, grounded people have begun ranting like lunatics, throwing out scare words and petty insults that have nothing to do with the topic at hand, Godwining (for lack of a better term) themselves with words like "socialism" and examples to extreme situations that would hardly seem possible let alone plausible to anyone who looks at the situation rationally.

This is prevalent on both sides of the political fence, and it's equally insulting either way, so don't start cheering until you look in the mirror.

If you are going to try and sway my (or anyone's) opinion one way or another, stop sounding like a bunch of screaming teenagers, crying that their parents "NEVER EVER EVER LET THEM DO ANYTHING THEY WANT!!!"

Oh boo fucking hoo.

"You are a socialist that wants to kill old people because they aren't useful to the great machine of society any longer, how cruel"

No, shut the fuck up and sit down.

"You don't want the brown people to get health care, you sup with pharmaceutical companies and you hate kittens you monster!"

No, shut the fuck up and sit down.

The adults are talking.

There are adults out there talking, yes?
