Last year, some lady was arrested because she kicked her 4-year-old out of her car and left him on the side of I-495 in the middle of the night. I just hear on the new that she was just acquited of child neglect by reason of insanity. I'm finding this funny this morning probably because every mother of a 4-year-old that I know has been driven at least a little bit crazy by their sweet darlings. Also, I do remember thinking yesterday as Patrick joined Joseph in a crying spree that I could understand perfectly why that woman was tempted to kick the kid out of the car.

Joseph is now 6 weeks, 11 lbs 10 oz and 23 inches long. He's doing all the things babies are supposed to do and looks adorable doing them. He actually looks a lot like Patrick did at this age. He's a little darker in complexion, hair and eyes, but otherwise they look the same to me. Patrick's doing well. He's going to the babysitter twice a week while I work and really loving it. We're doing a homeschool co-op on Mondays with a PE portion on Wednesday afternoons. Started soccer back up on Monday nights. He's enjoying it all. He's also doing really well with Joseph. M is liking the school he's teaching at. He really likes his class and most of the people he works with/for. He has a mentor teacher who's helping him get organized and find all the resources he needs. And I think we're finally figuring out how to get the laundry done and dinner cooked most days. Now if I only we could fit in housework.

We're planning a big trip to Orlando next summer instead of CA. I don't think we'll voluntarily make another airplane trip until the boys are much older. It was hard enough just with Patrick the last time; I can't imagine doing it with two and with all of the new restrictions.
