It had been an extremely
long and musical day, which was why Ben had fled to the beach as soon as his classes were over in the hopes that the song Captain Kirk had been singing would eventually get out of his head.
Naturally, he'd been on the beach all of a minute when he'd gotten his
wish.

Force, he hoped she hadn't heard any of his musical whining.

"I feel your fingers -
Brushing my shoulder -
Your tempting touch,
As it tingles my spine -
Watching your eyes
As they invade my soul -
Forbidden pleasures
I'm afraid to make mine.
At the touch of your hand -
At the sound of your voice -
At the moment your eyes meet mine -
I am out of my mind -
I am out of control -
Full of feelings I can't define.
It's a sin with a name -
Like a tiger to tame -
And our senses proclaim
It's a dangerous game!"
Flinging herself backwards, Karla landed on the sand, clapping her hands over her mouth. She looked at Ben with almost terrified eyes.
