muahahaha. i thought of that one when em and i were drivin back up to LA from San Diego this weekend. I don't think she was very amused. *sigH* few ppl understand my humor. it's so sad. woe is me.

random acts of kindness.
so we took to toll road to bypass some of the traffic on the 405 & 5 (for those of you non-angelenos, a toll road is a relative novelty for us down in so cal). on the way back, the toll booth operator informed us that the car in front of us had paid for our toll. how random is that? we didn't know the driver of that car, nor did we let them cut in front of us unecessarily. the only motivation that I could think of is the fact that we were driving a hybrid car...maybe this was that person's way of thanking us for being eco-friendly?
E said that it was something that had happened to her while going to school in the bay area, and that she had even returned the favor once or twice.
it just seemed like a really cool way to put a smile on a stranger's face. *shrug*.
in the end tho, all i could think of is that we must have good CARma.
ouch. that one hurt.
