"Oh Mamma I'm in fear for my life from the long arm of the law"

Best Ending Ever.... I'm talking about the "Night Shifter" episode the CW just aired.  Any show that used Styx has my undying devotion. /Supernatural reference.

I'm guessing that you've been asking yourself: "So I wonder what's Mo been up to?"  No?  Yeah that was presumptuous even for me.  It has been a little busy round these parts which calls for a quick update.

Performances: Hollywood Master Chorale had it's final concert of the season a couple weeks ago but now we're gearing up for our 3rd fundraising cabaret which is this Saturday.

Yours truly will be singing "When Somebody Love Me" from Toy Story 2 as well as "Hushabye Mountain" from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in a small group. My goal: make somebody cry (and not THAT way!).

Monsters and Critics crap: my Ratatouille went up the day after the film opened but what ya gonna do? Next up I have a review for Interview I'm finishing up for Thursday.  (My advice, don't bother with Interview.) I'm heading down to cover Comic Con again this year. It's already shaping up to be exciting with panels for Heroes, Supernatural, a Clive Owen appearance and so much more. I may even get a shot at my first interview with the cast of Pathology, fingers crossed!

Concerts:  I'm seeing Snow Patrol (AT LAST!) on the 23rd and Tears for Fears on the 29th.  I took
drgnfilleto a last minute secret performance of Kids in the Hall for her birthday.  It was at this tiny theater at UCLA and we were in the 3rd row.  The Kids were working out some new material for Montreal (I assumed it was for the Just For Laughs Fest) and then a tour.  Buddy made an appearance as well as the two motivational sales guys.  Most of the stuff worked but as usual the funniest parts were watching them crack themselves up.  Bruce came out and did a bit called "If I could talk to Nicole Ritchie" that had me crying it was so funny.  The guys are all older and paunchier but I loves 'em.  Tuesday night I'm taking
daisybuttercupto see Eddie Izzard for her birthday.  It's always such a bitch to try and get tickets for his shows and thank God I lucked out this time.  Happy Birthday Sunshine!

Payden:  I would like to introduce Ms Payden Eileen Kershner, Darla's daughter.  These pictures were taken on the day she turned 6 months old.

Don't you just wanna eat those chubby legs?  I asked Darla if the Princess sash came in big girl size.  I think every woman should have one along with a tiara.

I've been seeing photos of the crowds gathered outside the stage door for Orlando (hi Kyle and Claire!) and as much as it breaks my heart that I can't go to see the play in person I am overjoyed that our friend
parlanceis heading over in September.  Take good care of her
drbiscuit!

Ok that enough out of me.  I'm seeing Goya's Ghost at the arclight on the 19th with the director and Randy Quaid scheduled to do a Q&A and Transformers tomorrow with the writer (wait, that movie HAD a writer?!) and Michael Bay speaking afterwards.  All that Bay hot air will probably be too much and I'll skip that.  Man, I thought things were calming down for me.  I guess not!  Peace!
