Pikom PC Fair finally here
I've been waiting for this event for months because I think it's time for me to replace my old CPU. I just replaced my broken monitor with a new Samsung LCD last month. Usually they sell some of the computer (and other technologies) stuff a bit cheaper than in normal computer shops. Not to mention some free gifts giveaway (eventhough some of them are pretty useless like an ugly phonestrap).
Just when I was considering getting a new CPU this month, a colleague of mine just told me that USB ver. 3.0 will be releasing soon by the end of this year so, why not wait till then? Since I'm no tech geek, I asked what so great about it. "It reads 10 times faster than USB 2.0," he said.
Gah!!! First, I've been waiting for the release of Windows 7, now this?! Groan... I hope my old computer can last a little while longer until I can purchase a new one. Ah well, at least it gives me more time to save some more money on buying better computer parts. By the way, is Windows 7 better than XP?
Oh, and they're showing GI Joe at the local cinemas right now but I don't plan on watching it. Look what happened to Transformers movies. And why the heck did they have some kind of supersuits in that movie?
Disney Pixar's UP will be showing this month. Now that, I can hardly wait.
