We're Back, even though you didn't know we were gone. . .
Went to the west side over the week-end and visited with family for our annual holiday bash. It was fun and everything went fairly smoothly. C0r1 Sän could not be at the party but came and surprised us with Seamus the night before. Probably the highlight of the week-end was when they made me go into a laughing frenzy and I could not stop. It probably won't be funny here since it had a lot to do with the delivery of the lines, but anyway it went like this.
Me to Sän: So are you going for orange hair, or is it just bleached and you are still going to add some color or something. I mean, because sometimes it looks that color just from bleach...
Sän gave me a strained look and turned to Seamus and said: Can you Translate?
Seamus, sounding like a bored, wasted teenager, came back with: What's up with your hair?
Sän then said to Seamus: Will you tell her that I had it professionally done a certain color but the color only lasted, like 3 days, so I got this stuff from the grocery store and it lasted a lot longer, but I am planning on doing something else to it.
Seamus turned and looked at me, and as if he were still translating, said: Yes.
That's it! That's the whole sound track except for my cackling, snorting, and catching of my breath only to double over again with more breath taking laughter.
I am looking forward to their visit in January, as I am sure by then I will be in need of another stress relieving belly laugh.
