(One shot) Better than a dream
I have written a new fic, I'm not fully satisfied with it, but I hope that someone will like it^^ I'm trying to continue on some other fics I have started too, but I have watched a lot of drama instead XD *fail*
I have too many ideas, and don't know how to det them into a good story...but I guess that it will solve itself^^

Tegoshi reached out his hand to stroke a strand of hair out of his lovers face. He smiled when he saw him open his eyes.
“Ahhh, gomen, did I wake you up?”
Yamapi shook his head. “What time is it?”
Tegoshi smiled. “It’s still in the middle of the night.” His smile turned into a smirk. “So we do have time for another round if you would like to…”
Yamapi slapped his head lightly. “I have work tomorrow, remember?”
Tegoshi laughed quietly. “Gomen, I forgot. Shall we try to sleep then?”
Yamapi nodded and Tegoshi curled up against his chest. He sighed and inhaled the smell of his lover.
“Ne, Tomo?”
“Hmm?” Yamapi responded sleepily.
“I love you. I really, really do. I don’t ever want to love someone else beside you.”
Yamapi caressed his hair softly, but didn’t say anything.
“But I’m scared…that you will find someone better than me, and will leave me.”
“You shouldn’t think like that.”
“…I know. But I’m scared. You won’t leave me, will you?”
Tegoshi looked Yamapi deep in the eyes. “Tomo?”
Yamapi smiled. “Do you trust me?” Tegoshi nodded.
“Then there’s no need to think about things like that. Sleep now.”
Tegoshi nodded, and buried his face in Yamapi’s chest. “Will you still be here when I wake up?”
“Sleep now, Tegoshi.”
“I love you, Tomo.”
Tegoshi couldn’t fall asleep for a long while. He was so scared that Yamapi would be gone when he woke up if he fell asleep. To be with Yamapi was like a dream, and he didn’t want to wake up from it. Ever. He was madly in love with Yamapi. He almost loved him so much that it was scary.
He was so scared that this romance was too good to be true, and that Yamapi would find someone else than him. He didn’t want to live without Yamapi, he didn’t want to be lonely again. Yamapi had told him that he didn’t need to doubt him, that he wouldn’t walk away. But deep in his heart, Tegoshi still doubted him. He almost every morning expected him to be gone. He felt bad for not believing his lover, but he was so scared. Yamapi had told him that he could trust him. He wanted to, but he couldn’t. How could they keep this relationship up if Tegoshi didn’t even trust Yamapi?
The thought made Tegoshi’s eyes fill with tears, and he hugged Yamapi tightly, as if he tried to not make him go anywhere. He sobbed loudly, and buried his face in Yamapi’s chest.
He could suddenly feel a hand softly caressing his hair.
“Tegoshi, what’s wrong?”
Tegoshi just shook his head. “I’m sorry…I’m so sorry Tomo…”
“Shhh, you haven’t done anything wrong, so don’t say that.”
Tegoshi felt how Yamapi embraced him tightly. “It’s my fault, right? It’s because you don’t trust me that you feel like this, isn’t it?”
Tegoshi didn’t say anything, just sobbed and buried his face even deeper in Yamapi’s chest.
“We can’t continue this if you don’t even trust me…” Yamapi’s voice was thin and full of sadness.
Tegoshi sobbed. “…I know…I’m so sorry…”
“Why don’t you trust me? Have I done anything wrong?”
Tegoshi shook his head. “I’m so scared that you will realize that there are so many persons that are so much better than me and will leave me for one of them…you’re way too good for me…”
Yamapi broke their hug and looked Tegoshi deep in the eyes. “Why would I do something like that? You need to have confidence in yourself, Tegoshi. How can I love someone who doesn’t even love himself?
Tegoshi sobbed. “…I know…but I…”
“You have to believe in yourself, and in me, otherwise this won’t work.”
Tegoshi bit his lip and avoided Yamapi’s gaze. “Are you sure that this just isn’t a dream? That if you got the chance would choose to be with someone else?”
Yamapi wiped a tear from Tegoshi’s cheek and his expression softened. “Would you fight for me if someone tried to steal me away?”
Tegoshi sobbed. “I don’t know if I would have the confidence to do it…I don’t know if you wanted me to fight…”
Yamapi sighed. “Well, I would fight for you. I would do everything I could to take you back. Do you believe me?”
Tegoshi felt how the tears started to fall again, and he felt so bad for Yamapi. How could he not trust him? He made a decision where he law. He would do all he could to start to trust Yamapi. After all, there was no need to doubt him. He realized that now. There was no way that Yamapi would betray him, it was just himself that didn’t believe that he was good enough for Yamapi. But he was wrong. There was no way that he needed to be scared, he just needed to believe that he was worth loving.
“I will fight for you.”
Yamapi looked at him. “Hmm?”
“If someone tries to steal you, I will fight. Because I don’t want anyone else to be with you.”
Yamapi smiled and kissed Tegoshi on the forehead.
Tegoshi wiped his tears and looked Yamapi in the eyes. “I will do my best, for you…for us. I don’t want to lose you, so I need to do my best to not doubt you.”
Yamapi smiled and nodded. “I don’t want to lose you either. And I will do my best to make you trust me, so you don’t have to be scared.”
Yamapi kissed Tegoshi on the cheek and put his arm around him. “We should sleep now.”
Tegoshi looked him in the eyes. “Will you be here when I wake up?”
Yamapi smiled. “Where else would I be?”
Tegoshi gave him a quick kiss on the lips and closed his eyes. “I love you Tomo. I will always do.”
Yamapi stroked his cheek gently. “I love you too. If this is a dream, then I don’t want to wake up from it.” Yamapi grabbed his hand and squeezed it.
Tegoshi smiled. “This is better than a dream.”

Tegoshi opened his eyes slowly, the sunlight filled the room. He felt a comfortable warmth around his body, and felt how a strong hand kept holding his hand. Yamapi looked so peaceful when he slept, and it made Tegoshi all warm inside to watch him. He moved his face closer to Yamapi’s and pressed their foreheads together. He closed his eyes and just enjoyed the presence of his lover. He wanted to stay like this forever, it made him feel so happy and his heart felt light.
He could suddenly feel Yamapi’s lips towards his own, and he just sighed and kissed him back. When they broke the kiss, Yamapi just looked at him with sparkling eyes.
“Good morning, honey.”
Tegoshi smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek. “Good morning. I’m so happy that you’re here with me.”
Yamapi embraced him. “I wouldn’t want anyone else watch you sleeping, hugging you or kissing you. I want to be the only one that does that to you.”
“And I don’t want anyone else to do it to me. You’re more than enough for me.”
Yamapi tightened his grip around Tegoshi and whispered gently in his ear. “I don’t need to wish for beautiful dreams at night, because I wake up to something that is so much more beautiful than any dream.”
Tegoshi could feel his heart race and his cheeks became hot. He didn’t know what to response, but he knew that Yamapi understood that he was happy. There was no need for words in this situation. Tegoshi caught Yamapi’s lips and kissed him deeply, and tried to put all of his emotions into it. This was where he belonged. This was where he felt safe. He wanted to always stay in these arms, where he was the happiest. He broke the kiss and looked deep into Yamapi’s beautiful eyes.
“Tomo, I love you.”
Yamapi kissed his collarbone.
“I love you too. And I’m really fortunate to be loved by the most wonderful person in the world. Thanks for loving me Tegoshi.”

I started to write it for the purpose of a sad ending, but I didn’t want to be that evil so it ended with fluff XD
