Tulips planted last fall for cut flowers growing well, one block was buried in a lot of leaves, pulled those back to reveal very pale tulips.
Spinach planted last fall (4 foot by 8 foot on 6 inch centers) has first set true leaves, watered with dilute liquid fertilizer.
Lots of snowdrops for past month, many pretty arrangments. Brought in forsythia branches and they bloomed in days last week, still in bud outside. Dug a blooming crocus and potted for house. Potted Star of Bethlehem with 1 inch leaves in 2 pots for forcing in house.
