my first volks usa shipment :O
mmkay, so i bought some eyes from volks usa's site, which will be used for nigel, my future-yder, younger brother of ashbet's el dreaming mod, aubrey. (they're incubi!) i got one pair of their silver metallic (the kind aubrey has), and one pair of gold metallic just to see which one i want to use (or maybe one of each) for nigel, aka "the incuban gentleman". :D
anyway, they sent me a volks ID card! granted it says "'05" and not "'06" (i placed the order on feb.3rd), and it's all in japanese, but these are minor technicalities which in no way affect the coolness which has now been bestowed upon me; p.s.-- i'm #253. :B
nigel won't be coming home until summertime, the earliest, as remy (souldoll imagined lune, whom i have on layaway at sunrise dolls) should be coming home around may. (i'm hoping he'll be a gemini! :D )
and speaking of dolls... i pre-ordered a wig from shop4dollsandbears MONTHS ago, and i haven't heard anything about it yet. T___T i hate to say it, but davona is really nice and answers questions and stuff, it tends to take a really long time for orders to ship. and that's because she has to put it in as a group/bulk order, i think, so if there aren't enough orders placed for a certain brand, you'll have a long wait. meh. whatever. it'll come when it comes.
yeah... dolls. i loves 'em. :D
OH! that makes me remember: i'm doing a portrait of not-lily (tragic princess) in my painting class. i should be finished monday; i just have to add her chain. it's not too bad i guess. just my way of immortalizing her and keeping her for myself.
and i've been bitten by the "i-want-to-make-my-own-doll bug" again. if only i could find my air-drying clay....
today is cleaning day! my friend (OMGWTF? i have friends??) mary is coming over today!! :D
