Watched the first couple episodes of Wakfu, it's really cool so far! Though a tad confusing, all this fantasy-world jargon being thrown around XD It's a neat French cartoon based on an MMO, I think it's all made in Flash, but it's done VERY well. It looks a bit strange at first when you see the animation, but it grows on you and the action scenes are done very well and look awesome *_* The main character Kid is adorable, and I like the other characters so far! And the bad guy is really crazy which amuses me, and also a robot. Crazy robot.

Also watching a cartoon in French makes me realize just how comfortable I am with Japanese. I started getting a little lost and had to pause or rewind and read the subtitles again, or it would take longer for me to process what they were saying. And I realized I was just like that with Japanese+English subs years ago too, back when Japanese sounded like jibberish. I've been listening to Japanese for so long now that I can pretty much understand what they say in a lot of situations even WITHOUT subtitles, and my understanding of all the little Japanese inflections and phrases and just...all those little language things I've learned over time help me understand what they say ALONG with the subtitles. While I'm watching I can hear what they say and partially understand the Japanese and the gist of the phrase, and reading the subtitles just cements what they said in my mind (along with words I don't know) and I can follow along very quickly. But when I listen to the French...it's just complete garble to me, I barely understand any of the words except ones that maybe sound like english words, so I have to get ALL the understanding from the reading, which can get a bit straining when they talk so quickly and I'm trying to watch the animation and read it at the same time. I thought I was just used to subtitles in general (which I am, I can read them fast and not have TOO much problem), but this just made me realize how it's not quite as easy for me as it would be in Japanese XD; Man I'm such a weeaboo. But also makes me feel better about how much Japanese I understand, lol!  The French is neat at least, a language sounds cuter/cooler when I can't understand it XD

But yeah, the show is really cute...  Definitely will watch more, Thanks AC for the links!

Also, Uhh been playing Retro Game Challenge a bit! It's cool. There are a few retro-game-based-internetty jokes in there, but those are forgivable because that's what this ENTIRE GAME IS. It's really fun so far and the games are cute and just challenging enough! One time a game didn't work so I had to "blow in the cartridge!" YES. A lot of cute little extra things like that.

Should play more M&L3, been getting into too many games and such lately. Also been playing a bit of NSMB (DS). it's uh. It's ok. Just as frustrating as SMB3 was for me lol, I never really liked SMB3 as much as I liked SMW. I wish they would take more elements from that instead ): It's far more fun and colorful. Oh well, NSMB is just as everyone tells me, it's..it's decent XD S'bout all I can say. I also hate the mega mushroom. It's really not that fun and I prefer going through the level rather than just..marching right and having no challenge. I do like seeing Bowser Jr., though! Figured I'd at least TRY this one before the new one comes out.

I feel like watching more stuff...maybe later tonight I'll watch more Xabungle or catch up on Pokemon or...I don't know something. 5D's. Yeah. Yeah 5D's.
Wanting to get back into Mr. Driller more too....ARG SO MANY THINGS. AS SOON AS I FINISH COMMISSIONS, I AM DRAWING A MILLION FANARTS OF EVERYTHING.

xabungle, random fandom, mr. driller, yu-gi-oh 5d's, pokemon, mario
