Just for kicks, I copied my Japanese essay into AltaVista's Babel Fish translator, and thought I'd share the Pulitzer prize deserving results ^_~ hehehe.
When it hits against the treasure lottery, as for me ジェシカワング Rec. which goes to Japan (5) As for me however we would like to go to Japan, the Japanese life is high you think that and, once upon a time it could keep becoming the rich person. For example, when it hits against the treasure lottery, Japan it is we would like to go. Being very large, 賑 and kana town it probably will put out Tokyo to put out, because as much as possible we would like to shop, most we would like to go to Tokyo in beginning. We would like to buy the new electronic dictionary at Akihabara. Japan being lovely, being very small, however we want also the modern portable telephone, without being able to use with America, you think that it is regrettable. Then we would like to buy also the elegant clothes and the kimono at Shibuya. Because my friends lovely have desired the thing and the television game and the candy to that, the your many gifts are not bought and the て is not good. Japanese ユーセホステル is cheap very and, everyone being kind, being to have come from the world, it is funny and, it is splendid. Because so, you have not stayed in the hotel which is the clean hot spring, when you become the rich person, being highest in beginning, you probably will reserve the special inn. Because as for the Japanese streetcar and the subway and the bus and the taxi however it is convenient, as for me the road it is perplexed well, the map will not be bought and the て probably will not be good. Taking the photograph of evening and town while because we would like to walk, perhaps, doing we would like to try buying also the new digital camera at Akihabara. When it goes to the spring, being to be able to observe that the cherry tree has bloomed after returning to America, showing the photograph the friends and to the family. Mainly, cute experience would like to try doing.
Rec. (5)
If I win the lottery, I will go to Japan
Jessica Wong Rec (5)
I would like to go to Japan, but the Japanese lifestyle is expensive, so I think it would be great to someoday become a rich person and be able to go. For example, if I win the lottery, I would definitely love to go to Japan.
Because Tokyo seems to be a very big and lively city, and I want to be able to shop as much as I want, first I'd most like to go to Tokyo. At Akihabara, I'd like to buy a new electronic dictionary. I want a cute, tiny, and modern Japanese cell phone too, but I wouldn't be able to use them in America, which I think is too bad. Then I'd also like to buy elegant western and Japanese clothing in Shibuya. Moreover, because my friends want cute things, video games, candy/treats, etc, I must buy lots of souvenirs as well.
Since Japanese youth hostels are very cheap, and everyone is very nice and interesting because they come from all over the world, I think they're wonderful. However, I've never stayed at a traditional Japanese inn that had a beautiful onsen (hot springs), so if I become rich first I shall make reservations at the most expensive and special inn.
Japan's trains, subways, buses, taxis, etc are very convenient, but since I often get lost I must buy a map in preparation. I want to take pictures of the city at night as I walk along, so maybe I will also try buying a new digital camera in Akihabara. If I go in the spring, I'll be able to see the sakura blossoms blooming, and be able to show photos to my friends and family after I come back to America. Mainly, I want to have a fantastic experience.
Hehe, now I just have to change the Japanese version of it to polite form, memorize it, and present it on Wed. That is, assuming I've survived my orgo exam on Tuesday. Yay~~~
