I've been back for three days but it feels like I'm still you know....there mentally...for now I will just post this picture and later on...hopefully...I can gather up enough energy, detail, and description to write something of worth that you all can read about my experience. It's all a blur, really...specific moments stand out but only image wise in my mind...I hope to put them into words when I catch up with all the work I have missed and classes that are kicking my ass. =/ Though I can truthfully say I will not be able to write a live report quite as good as the one from last year, it will certainly be different when the time comes for it.
So, I did it again, 02.23.07 shall be remembered as the day I waited in line for 14+ hours with an amazing group of friends, received a backstage pass with my purchased album, floated through a suprisingly calming, lulling, energizing performance with an awake daze of fantasy, cried during 3 out of who knows how many songs, worked my way through the pit to get the best view of my prophet that I could with my friend Kris behind me all the way 'til the end, met/conversed with/got autographs from/hugged the band [sans Kyo -.-], gave Die a red necklace (that I hope to see him wear in the future even though the chances are slim), and received an unfinished beer bottle from the auburn-red headed wonder guitarist himself (even though I'm totally 17)...with a signature to boot.
You'd better fuckin' believe it. It's an experience that will last me a lifetime. And the fact that I still haven't met Kyo, is all the more reason to keep going to their concerts until I do...come back soon boys, there is no band in the world that I wish for more success than your's. I mean it, I truly truly do. x]
I'll take it as fate that I was one of the 12(?) out of over 1000 to be able to meet them, likewise that Kyo didn't show up. It's a sign, and all of these souveniers, mental and physical, I take back with me as a token of both luck and coincidence...I hope things like this continue to happen, because I am more than grateful. I swear it.
Until I can form the words to explain the rest,
- Momo.
And thank you, to my friends, to all who were there, all who I met, and all who helped the show to be what it was. It wouldn't have been as great and/or as intense without you. I hope you all have something to hold sacred whether in your hands or in your hearts from this tour.
p.s. feel free to ask whatever questions you deem interesting or simply want to know...I can't promise I will make a real review anytime soon.
edit:....I actually changed my mind about the rest of the live report...all you need to know has been said. Everything else is what I keep to myself and between my friends....it's beyond words, so it will remain that way.
