the icons are lovely. i really like #6. would it be too much to ask for the original pictures of kyo? #6 and #'s 8-11? i'd love that ^ ^
...and about your views on the article. i'm really glad to see more people happy about it. i also thought it was a great article. i've already seen my share of fans complaining about it for whatever reason.
I totally agree.. Im so excited that they have done so well. Every fan should support them in their quest to dominate the world.lol j/k nice to meet such supportive fans ^_^...
Beutiful icons btw.. i took the Kaoru one from the teaser thanks
THAT ARTICLE MAKES ME SO HAPPY. unlike the majority, it would make my day if they became somewhat mainstream here.
♥
i personally asked our local hot topic to start carrying cure mag. and when i finally come in to see if they have it they've sold out. T-T that makes me glad to see so many jrock fans exist and all...but wtf they should have reserved a copy for me! >:O
eh. I don't think "popular" or mainstream is what I want for them...but I'm glad the response is positive. As long as they stay true to themselves...then I'll be glad no matter what. I just don't want them on freakin TRL or something...I mean come on.
this is horrible, but i've been wanting to see them on TRL forever. XDDD i don't know why, but i just love seeing the reactions of mainstream people to things that i like. it's just entertaining for me. xD
I don't...I'm one of thos people who doesn't get into things if huge crowds go for them. You know..Star Wars, Harry Potter, LOTR, hate them all...
But in this case...if Dir en grey goes huge and mainstream...at least I can say I've known about them since I was like 12 when everyone's just barely listening to Cage in like a year. ~_~;;;
I know ever since I got into them that they woudl go far and I have a giant hope that they will go on forever. in my mind they will be and will always be my favorite band and the best band of all time!!!!!!!
Hiya! I took 12 and 14, and I think the rest are just gorgeous.
I adore that article! This is my first time looking at it, and I think it's great that people around the world are paying attention. Woo! Maybe now they'll come to Vancouver b/c everyone knows Vancouver is like, crazy about j-rock like whoa and-- *coughs* Articles like that make the world go round.
yeah, I'm glad they get coverage now. It's exciting to know they're on the move.
And you know what? You probably have a great chance to see them. I'm sure they'll hit Canada within the next year or so...I mean...I know there are plenty of Canadians who listen to jrock...I've seen some of the best cosplay pics from cons up there.
I'm so fortunate to have seen them down here in L.A. I know they are aware of their fanbase...Dir en grey always seems to be considerate of the fans, so Vancouver may be next, you never know.
It's awesome to know that they're going around everywhere. And I really hope they'll hit Canada. zoh god, even Seattle would be fine for me! I'd skip school and everything to get there. Which is creepy now that I think of it, but HEY! I'm allowed to be somewhat obsessive right? (Okay, I'm not, it's just... their songs are LOVE! *adores Ain't Afraid to Die with a passion*)
Everyone who got to see them is very lucky. Maybe Vancouver will be next... Maybe they'll be like, hey... 2010 Olympics are coming up. LET'S GO TOUR IN CANADA AND END UP IN VANCOUVER AND WE'LL GET LOTS OF PUBLICITY AND LOVE AND WE SHALL SPREAD THE GOOD NAME OF J-ROCK! :D
Yes. That's exactly how they think. Loudly, in caps lock.
