Walk like an Egyptian

I just got back from seeing the King Tut exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art. We lucked into a family ticket package so we got a little bit of a price break. The exhibit was good but didn't include the funeral mask that been on all the advertising. I did a little sketching in the galleries but between the people and tight rooms, I didn't do much. It would have been nice to have had less people because about halfway through it felt like all the oxygen was being sucked from the room.

Which I suppose was what King Tut's tomb was like, eh?

The COOLEST thing was waiting at home in the mailbox. I got my check back from Furry Fiesta. *grins* I made back the panel fees for both art shows AND the reg for ConDFW plus some extra.
I am SO happy!! EeEeEeEeE!!
