Heart for Jessica
It's time to use my power for good.
As some of you may know, my sons are active in band. Their middle school band director and her family are trying to raise funds for her niece, Jessica, who is waiting for a heart transplant. She collapsed while working as an entertainer at Disneyworld in Orlando and has spent months in and out of the hospital.

If you are in the Dallas area, there will be a fundraiser for Jessica at Poteet High School (3300 Poteet Drive, off of Galloway & Town East Blvd) in Mesquite, TX this Saturday, November 22th from 12 noon to 3 pm. There will be crafts booths, face-painting, BBQ, a raffle and other events. In addition, Carter Bloodcare will have its Bloodmobile out there, with donations going to Jessica, who relies on weekly transfusions.
