Morning Monsoon
Nothing quite like waking up to a monsoon in the wee hours of the morning. The water was curb to curb out front, making my street look like a river. The really ridiculous thing was that apparently hundreds of people, mostly women and girls, were out in this weather lined up at the Dallas Galleria to get tickets to the Twilight movie and meet the actor playing Edward. Some people even drove from Oklahoma for it... good grief. *L* shinga , this is worth at least one Head Trip comic.
On the down side, the rain really trampled my tomatoes. I was hoping to get a few more of them before the really cold weather gets here. Once it dries up a bit, I need to get started on turning the garden over and swiping my neighbors leaf bags. I just hope that the rain drowns the nasty ant pile that I stepped in on Sunday -- my left foot is covered in tiny little ant bites.
