Yep... I'm a bundle of nerves. Only one student as far as I know but she's one of the ones I taught as a grade schooler and someone I've known most of her life. *L* She's applying for an art scholarship so she's working on her portfolio this summer. I'm technically not supposed to do classes with less than four people but I'll make an exception in her case. I like the idea of helping her go for her goals.
Here's my current schedule of Grumbacher Fine Arts Workshops for this summer:
June 18th, 2-4 pm -- Landscape
June 25th, 2-4 pm -- Still Life
July 9th, 2-4 pm -- Seascape
July 16th, 2-4 pm -- Floral
July 23rd, 2-4 pm -- Landscape
July 30th, 2-4 pm -- Still Life
Aug 6th, 2-4 pm -- Seascape
As you can tell, I teach four themes so I'm rotating them. If I get some repeat students, I may develop my own lesson plans on other topics, like portraits or fantasy. It'll all depend on what the response will be. If you're interested in taking the class (and happen to be in the Mesquite, TX area), just drop by Michaels at 635/LBJ & Town Crossing in Mesquite or call 214-231-0699 for more details.
Wish me luck!!
