Merry Christmas from Mother Nature
It was shaping up to be a stressful holiday. I was behind in my present wrapping because of work so I was putting it off until today when I had the day off. Meanwhile the hubs was making plans to get everything ready so we could leave first thing this morning. (Whereas when I learned of this an HOUR before work yesterday, we had our annual pre-holiday fight. We argue over dumb things.)
As it turned out, we got to spend most of the day lounging about in our pajamas because both sets of our parents called to tell us to stay home. Blizzard conditions has totally shut down Oklahoma and will probably won't be fit for travel well into the weekend. By the time we left for mass, it had started showing here so we're just going to stay put for Christmas. I think I'm going to enjoy that. I've got a roast to cook for tomorrow and enough supplies so we won't have to go out so it'll be fine.
