Homemade chicken pot pie in the oven made with an improvised whole wheat crust...we'll see how that works out.
I'm doing it more for the nutty flavor not the health factor as it was cut with a ton of butter.
Besides, I'm low in all purpose flour.
Considering a good place for some food storage...should I carve a nook out in the garage or out in the shed...garage is easy, DRY access so perhaps that's what I'll do.
Besided some things that need canning, I have serveral root vegetables that will keep for awhile and want a place to put more bulk baking items such as flour and sugar.
Also a variety of dried beans.
Butter is insanely expensive now adays so when I find it on sale or come across a killer coupon it will be stock piled in my deep freeze.
Timer dinged, time to take foil off of edges of pie so that it can finish baking.
