This morning there was the pattering of rain.
I interrupted the cool, grey moment with the buzzing of coffee beans for my everyday morning ritual.
With blanket in tow I cuddled on the couch to watch Masterpiece Mystery before the rumblings of husband and children.
For an hour and a half it was just me, my mug of coffee and Inspector Lewis. After my early morning dalliance with Detective Sergeant James Hathaway the alarm promptly sounded at 6:20am and another week is on its way.
How quickly the leaves are changing now. Evening fires spent with children and marshmallows have provided for some entertaining story telling that I must write down somewhere for future reference.
I also have been going through my attic weeding through items I don't really need. I have found old letters, some of which I will not be getting rid of. They are tied too preciously to memories that seem just like yesterday and have helped in whom I am today. I want my daughter to be able to read from another perspective of the person I was back than so that she may better understand who I am as we grow into the future.
