Doctors
I had my first day off with pay yesterday. I decided to do all of my doctor's appointments yesterday. First appointment was the eye doctor. I had been having headaches and I was pretty sure that it was from my glasses precription changing, which it had. It took me forever to pick out a new pair of glasses. I have had my current pair for 3 years and just did not like any of the styles around the eyes. Everything was rectangle lenses, which i don't look all that good in. I finally picked 1 pair that was just ok, meaning I am willing to wear them. I had them make them transisions so I wouldn't need sunglasses. Bonous of that visit I don't have to pay until they come in.
Next up was my annual exam (which was like 2 years late). I had decided to see my son's doctor instead of the doctor that my mom had taken me to for forever. When the doctor came into the room he asked why I was seeing him and I told him it was because he listens. (Kick in the balls of the other doctor, but that is how I feel). I told him that I was afraid that I was developing carpal tunnel, and showed him where I was having pain and numbness. He tells me that is not carpal tunnel, it is a pinched/stressed ulnar nerve. Yippie! So he prescribed an NSAID that I have to take for a month or so and if it dosen't improve I will have to have nerve condution studies done . I also asked him about the mood swings that I have been having and I have another appointment with him next week to discuss them (he said it was depression). So currently I feel like I am falling apart, but I am getting to put everything back together.
After all of my appointments I took Rhyse to the fair. I had promised to take him so he could ride rides. He had a blast his favorites were the cars (he went on thoese twice). The only fair food he wanted was cotten candy. All in all we had a good time.
On another note I am looking forward to seeing bluebuckeye the weekend of October 15. There is a yarn shop in Dublin that I would like to go to. Poor Rhyse has been asking to see Eris & Leah (cant spell). I keep having to tell him that we aren't going for a couple weeks.
