My name backwards starts with ASS; I just never had a chance

Well, it's Sunday, relisted baby clothes that haven't sold, waiting for someone's eCheck to clear so I can ship what she bought. Listed a bunch of my home made earrings on eBay. There's this lady who wants me to custom make some jewelry for her, along the lines of the Brillo earings. You know, Andy Warhol? I've never made them like that but it ( Read more... )

I'll be ok. This'll toughen me up quite a bit, haha.

How old are your kids? Mine are 13, 9, 7, and 3. I feel your pain on the kids sharing a room. The last house the girls and the boys both had to share. The fighting between the boys was just a bit unbearable at times. "Why do I have to clean it up he made the mess!"

Let me clarify, the boys had one room and the girls had another. That didn't quite read well at first.

Haha, ok, I get it. It's really gotten worse in the past couple weeks when the both were sick. Now Natalie (2.5 year old) has been sleeping next to dad. I can't wait till their older! Or maybe I can, you'd know that better than me.

Now there is a double edge to that statement. Yes they will be older and able to articulate more in thier needs, and even do more on their own, however, they tend to get more expensive as they get older. Lord help ya if you have a talker, then you will be in a world of trouble. My oldest daughter Katheryn, she is a talker. She is nine. Ever see the cartoon of the fox caught in a trap trying desperately to get out? Get the picture? I love my daughter dearly, but damn! Give daddy's ears a break. My teenage son Kenny, he has a knack at being very annoying at times. Alot. He does it just for kicks and it drives me insane. Other than that, he is a good kid. My youngest son William, who is seven is the carbon copy of me. I know how he thinks. That is a very good thing to be able to stay two steps ahead of him when he gets older. For the most part the higher end three aren't too terribly bad. The worst was saved for the youngest daughter Alyssa. She is terror on two feet and the culmination of four kids worth of "The Mother ( ... )

I see, I'm a little less looking forward to them getting older, but that which doesn't kill ya makes you stronger, right? Right?

haha, I understand my parents more, now

Oh, Natalie will be 2 years 7 months on the 21st, and Robin is 9 months. I can't imagine having 4 of them! I mean, I love my girls more than anything (it's been proven) and I'd love anymore kids I'd have just as much, but I have to give you serious props for surviving 4! I'm raising the foam finger in my mind for you, haha.

Me and my wife were going to stop at two, but then William sort showed up and then I was on a waiting list with this urologist to have things taken care of when Alyssa came around. If you can handle two, odds are three won't be too terribly bad, but four stretches the sanity to new limits. I will go to the ends of the earth for my kids and I love them dearly, but they push their luck sometimes too much around us. They were surprisingly well behaved at Emmy's big picnic this past summer.
