I had a spectacular night tonight, I went out to meet two people in particular. The male one didn't show, worked overtime. The female one did. She is my bestest best best friend in the universe, Naomi. We grew up together. We've talked online a lot for about a month or so but this was the first time we hung out in person in over ten years. We were both nervous that it would be awkward, like maybe we'd changed too much in a decade to really be more than chat buddies on the net. But no! It was like we'd been in 11th grade theatre class earlier today and just picked up where we left off. We've both changed in some ways for the better, but in the ways that count we're both the same! She got to meet a bunch of my current friends, and a couple of loonies that are more of aquaintences, and we simply had a wonderful time catching up.
I've been so unbelievably happy these days. There is a bit of conflict in my life right now, but everyone's lives have some kind of conflict, so I'm good. Also, there are so many other things right now that are positive and the list is growing in volume and intensity everyday.
